Michigan Boating 2023

In June of 2023, we purchased “Knot Again”.  She was located in Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada.  Scott and the previous owner piloted her into Sault Ste. Marie where he had to bring her in through customs and clear all of the hurdles for importing her back into the United States.  (unfortunately no pictures of this portion of the trip).  I met up with him in Sault Ste. Marie where we brought her down to her new home at Seng’s Marina in Manistee, Michigan. 

The summer of 2023 was spent learning the new boat, so we didn’t do much traveling on her other than some day trips.  We did take her out and spent my first night at anchor on Lake Michigan. I was a bit nervous about the whole endeavor, but we need to get used to anchoring out for our Loop as staying in marinas every night is expensive.  Luckily all went well and Knot Again was in her same location when we woke up in the morning as she was the night before 🙂
